The Beauty of Smooth Legs

Today was Day 2 of trying to wax my legs myself.  They are yet to be beautiful and smooth.  So the real point is that the beauty of smooth legs is to actually have smooth legs.  The process however isn't as bad as I thought it would be.  Somehow it is much less painful when you do it yourself.  Your surroundings get pretty sticky unless you are really careful and for those of us who are still working on attaining patience as a virtue, being very careful isn't so simple.  You might ask, why go through the trouble of waxing, and waxing yourself on top of everything?  Well, for those of us who inherited our father's hair growth need to take more drastic measures than just shaving, and waxing at home is much cheaper than waxing elsewhere. 

All in all, I am excited to accomplish this task.

Gone With the Wind

Having neat and polished fingernails makes me feel a little more like a lady.  So after many, many months I finally went for a relaxing 40 minutes to get a manicure.  It also helps that they massaged my hands and back during the process. I believe the appearance of a lady attends to all details.  I have yet to have a day where all details are in place.  It seems that either my outfit is right but my hair is not. Or my hair is attended to but my nails are atrocious.  I commend those ladies that are able to upkeep their appearance in all aspects on a daily basis.  I will most certainly post the day that all details are in place, if that day should occur. 

Perhaps next time I will also get a pedicure...
